Is it advisable to start with orthodontic treatment when they are smaller?
In some cases yes.
There are children who benefit from what is known as interceptive orthodontics (removable appliance). At early ages, even before age 6, the chances of effectively modifying the growth and development of the face and the teeth are much greater.
